Dr. Christopher Haley
Dr. Haley is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and owner of two private practices - Psychological and Life Skills Associates (www.PsychLife.net) and The Social Skills Center. He has 20+ years experience in psychotherapy with children, adolescents, adults, families, and groups. His primary specialty area is teaching social skills to patients of all ages, and he facilitates 12 separate Social Skills groups each week – 9 for children and adolescents and 3 for adults. He has developed a Social Skills Group technique that employs “incidental teaching” to foster these essential life skills. His book/DVD, “Peer Process Social Skills Groups: A Treatment Manual for Mental Health Therapists, Behavioral Specialists, and School Professionals” was published in 2011.
Scott F. Miller, MSW, LCSW
Scott F. Miller, MSW, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults. His clinical work includes treating mental illness in both the community and psychiatric hospital setting. He has significant experience working with families experiencing extreme stress due to mental illness and/or behavioral disorders. Mr. Miller is currently accepting new clients and is excited to offer individual and family psychotherapy in addition to Peer Process Social Skills Groups.
Alaina Mazer, LPC
Alaina Mazer, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with children and families. She has over 6 years experience in the community mental health setting treating grief, anxiety, depression, anger management, parenting skills, pro-social skills, ADHD and other mental health ailments. She is also trained in Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and helped design and run a group in Georgia. Alaina provides evaluations and treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults, with an emphasis on client-centered approaches.
